Mini-Reunions Scheduled to Date
Stay tuned! This is just the beginning - a meeting of three or more classmates constitutes a mini-reunion.
July 16-20, 2020
St. Andrews by the Sea and the Bay of Fundy
Host: Donna Smythe
The Class of 1974 is invited to Donna's family home—perched on a hill looking over the water—in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, located on the Bay of Fundy (highest tides in the world!). Activities range from hiking, sea kayaking, golfing, whale watching, shopping, and doing absolutely nothing. We’ll keep the party going from Thursday, July 16, through Monday, July 20. Just arrive in time for a big beach bonfire on Saturday night. Donna can accommodate about 10 people and St. Andrews has many lovely bed and breakfasts.
St. Andrews is up the coast from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and en route to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. If you are inclined to create a vacation, Donna will happily offer her services as a travel consultant for the Maritimes and Fundy Coast.
October 16-18, 2020
la Nouvelle-Orléans laisse les bons moments
Host: Stephanie Bruno
Stephanie has graciously offered to reprise the mini-reunion of 2012 in her beloved "The Big Easy." We will enjoy the wonderful sights and scenes that Stephanie shared before as well as those that she shares with us on Facebook.
April 9-11, 2021
Insider’s Guide to the Best of Atlanta
Hosts: Muffie Michaelson and Donna Smythe
We are so fortunate to have hosts who are also local directors and docents of Atlanta’s finest organizations, and they will take us behind the scenes with decision makers, founders, and CEOs . . . plus we will eat, drink, and relax together. Organizations that may be included are The Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Center for Civil and Human Rights, The High Museum of Art, The Alliance Theatre, The Georgia Aquarium, The Atlanta Beltline, and wonderful cultural and outdoor activity opportunities.
September 16-18, 2022 (estimated date)
Oktoberfest - Zincinnati
Host: Rhonda Wrenn
Reported to be the second-largest Oktoberfest celebration in the world (the largest being the original in Munich, Germany), Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is a three-day celebration of German heritage, beer, and food held each September. Hosted by Rhonda, a Cincinnative native, this mini-reunion will have something for everyone.
Join us for a day or the weekend and, BTW, practice your chicken dance. Prost!
